Gorilla Planner may route suitable quote requests to Adroa Travels as part of the current handoff workflow. This is an active commercial relationship, not an editorial ranking or “best operator” claim.
Adroa Travels: the current operator handoff
Gorilla Planner stays on the research side. When a traveler is ready for a real route and quote, suitable Uganda and Rwanda requests currently pass to Adroa Travels for operator follow-up.
How the Gorilla Planner and Adroa Travels handoff works
Gorilla Planner publishes comparison, permit, visa, safety, and safari guidance so travelers can get the research side straight before entering a sales conversation. We do not operate tours, take deposits, or hold inventory ourselves.
Adroa Travels is the current local operator we use when a traveler wants the next layer: permit handling, route-building, lodge sequencing, and local logistics shaped into a workable Uganda or Rwanda trip.

What happens after you submit a request
1. You finish the research side
You use Gorilla Planner to compare countries, permit rules, seasons, route logic, and budget tradeoffs before deciding you want operator follow-up.
2. You send a trip brief
You tell us your dates, budget, traveler count, and whether the trip is mainly gorillas, safari, chimpanzees, or a combination.
3. Gorilla Planner hands off the request
Suitable Uganda and Rwanda requests currently go to Adroa Travels first, not to a broad anonymous marketplace or rotating operator list.
4. Adroa prices the workable trip
If the brief is workable, Adroa can turn the planning logic into a real trip structure with permits, transfers, lodge order, and next commercial steps. Any booking relationship is directly with the operator.
When Adroa Travels is a strong fit
- You already understand the broad trip logic and now need a realistic route and quote.
- You want a Uganda-first gorilla trip with permit coordination and local logistics.
- You are combining gorilla trekking with Queen Elizabeth, Kibale, or another Uganda safari leg.
- You want one operator to turn a Uganda-Rwanda concept into a priced, workable route.
When this route may not be the best fit
- You only want raw research and are not ready for operator contact yet.
- You want multiple operators bidding against each other through Gorilla Planner, which is not the current model.
- You need a very broad multi-country Africa specialist outside the Uganda-Rwanda corridor.
- You want Gorilla Planner itself to act as the booking party, which we do not do.
